Interesting doll remnant from the Civil war period, Outstanding original paint on the carved & pinned wooden legs. Believed to be the original dress. No arms and what appears to be a Gutta Percha head has weathered to a wonderful form from age . This sort of thing cannot be faked. Oh if this doll could talk.
